“We deliver for

30 years

from Edewecht

to the world”

1981

EIMA Maschinen- und Förderanlagen GmbH is a supplier of custom conveyor technology and screw conveyors for various industries and food processing plants. Due to specialisation right from the very beginning, we are still the leader in screw conveyor technology in Northern Germany today.
Due to the many synergies in a screw conveyor company, entry into systems engineering for the food industry makes sense. Many inquiries were already coming from neighboring European countries in the early years.

1985-1990

The demand for high-quality EIMA systems continues to grow to this very day. In addition to individual pieces of equipment, many customers in Europe also want complete Edewecht quality production lines. With the planning and production of complete lines, the demand from Asia for these ‘turn-key systems’ starts to grow.

1990-1999

The shift to computerised design then started. Our PPS system (production planning and control system) for systems manufacturing and our 3D CAD development are among the major innovations which optimise processes. New possibilities were opened up by powerful computers, allowing for an even more customised response to customer requirements. A now available modern, fully automated laser cutting system for up to 20 mm thick steel sheet metal is the ideal complement to the digital data.

2000-2010

In 2002, expansion of the production capacity necessitated the move to larger warehouses in the Edewecht industrial park. The newly introduced CIM (Computer-Integrated-Manufacturing) system involved a redesign of the work processes, and an even higher level of optimisation. A new CNC trimming press was also integrated into the increasingly computer-controlled production process.

Today

Today, we have 40 plus employees, almost one third of whom are engineers. Through sales agencies, we have local representation in more than 15 countries around the world. Through constant innovation, our machines are state-of-the-art for production processes and we are able to install complete systems as turnkey projects for our customers.
