History

1981
Founding of EIMA Maschinen- und Förderanlagen GmbH.
At this time screw conveyors and screw vanes were produced for various industry sectors. As we became active in machine construction, export within the European market was expanded.
1985 - 1990
Beginning in the mid-eighties we exported our products throughout Europe. After growth in orders for complete systems, export was expanded to include the whole world.
1990 - 1999
The conversion to computer-aided design began. The PP&C System (Production Planning and Control System) for machine design and 3D CAD project planning were among the key innovations for optimizing workflows.
2000 - 2003
The fully automated laser cutting machine was integrated in the production line. The new acquisitions necessitated the move in 2002 to the Industriestrasse location in Edewecht. This allowed us to add another CNC controlled folding press to our operating equipment.
The CIM (Computer-Integrated-Manufacturing) system resulted in the redesign and further optimization of workflows.
today
We have a workforce of over 30 employees, a third of which are engineers.
EIMA exports machines worldwide and is expanding into the Asian market.
