Two ways to get started
Metalwork apprenticeship
Metalworker specialising in mechanical engineering, with an internship to try it out first.
About the apprenticeship
Dual study programme in mechanical engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Hannover, Wilhelmshaven or Osnabrück, practical work with us in the company.
About the dual study programmeBefore you get in touch
Four questions we are often asked.
No. Your name, contact details and the position are enough for the first step – it takes about two minutes.
You can attach your CV and certificates straight away or send them later. Everything else we clarify in person, usually by phone or during a tour of the workshop.
Yes, with a short internship. We agree on how long and when individually.
The easiest way is to call +49 4403 62245-0. We will show you our plant, and you will see what you will actually work on during your apprenticeship.
EIMA covers the tuition and semester fees in full. In addition, you receive a salary for the entire 3.5-year duration of your studies.
We also provide training materials, tools and workwear. In Hannover and Osnabrück the semester public transport ticket is included in the fee; for Wilhelmshaven we will find a solution for commuting.
Yes, if you bring practical skills and an interest in technology. Special machine building is learnt at the machine anyway, not in a seminar.
More important than your CV are welding skills (MIG, MAG, arc welding), confidence in reading technical drawings and a willingness to work in a team. Send us a speculative application – we are always looking for people for production, assembly and design.
Questions first
The best thing is to just give us a call.
Or simply send us an informal email.
Next step
Two minutes for your application.
We will sort out the rest in person – usually on the phone or during a tour of the hall. No essay-length cover letter needed.
